Well,
Hi there! My name is Jenny. My friends call me Fur (JenniFER), and although it might sound a little weird at first, I’ve become quite attached to the name. I don’t exactly know what I’ll be telling you every week but I promise it’ll be pretty ordinary, but no so ordinary you won’t want to read it. Just to give you a little background: I’m a college student who works with primates. That factored into my blog’s name (furprime). Fur, because well here I am, and prime because of primates. I realize the spelling for my title wouldn’t imply that I like primates but we don’t live in a perfect world and I’m really not all that clever. Also, it’s like I’m the human version of Amazon Prime, except I won’t ship you anything for free, but you can find me on website so there’s that.
I want to make it clear from the get go that the work I do with primates does not harm them. I’m currently working with owl monkeys that have been rescued form biomedical research. Most of them are old, some blind, but all beautiful! (I’m really sorry about the previous sentence, but it happened so we’re just gonna have to hope I never do it again). If you want to see the monkeys you can use the google, or you can simply finish this sentence.
Other than monkeys, I’ll likely be posting about men I can’t have that play music I do have. One of the likely suspects will be John O’Callaghan, who I will affectionately refer to as John Ohh. Why call him John Ohh? Because he looks like this: 
Those posts won’t come very often, but I will be seeing them live in a few months so I can’t really predict what emotional state I’ll be in when their concert gets close.
I’ll usually post things I encounter during the week or a story I’d like to share. I’m gonna try to keep it light, hopefully funny, but my life may not allow that.
Anyways, I hope my ramblings have distracted you from any homework you were trying to start or important life decisions you were trying to make.
